Lars is a gentle giant with a low-key personality. He's affectionate, friendly, and great with both dogs and kids. However, he does have a quirk: this big boy would rather munch on chickens than guard them, earning him a spot with BDRP as he seeks a new family. Most of Lars's time revolves around lounging with his people, enjoying leisurely strolls, and napping—especially in the company of his loved ones. He'll thrive best in a home with a yard where he can relax outdoors at his own pace. At about a year old and weighing 84 lbs, Lars is fully vetted and house trained. While he's tested positive for heartworm, all treatment costs will be covered by the rescue; he just needs a compassionate adopter or foster to bring him to 2-3 appointments.
