Meet Nala and Thor, a bonded pair of dogs eager to find their forever home together. These sweet companions are happiest in each other's company and truly rely on one another. Due to unfortunate circumstances, their current family can't provide them the attention they deserve, making it crucial to find the right match for them. Thor is a 6-year-old purebred Great Pyrenees male, neutered, and Nala is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees/Akbash mix female, spayed. They have been excellent indoor pets, are house-trained, and thrive in a securely fenced yard where they can explore freely. Protecting their home comes naturally to them, thanks to their breed lineage, and they will not hesitate to alert you to any intruders. Although they have been wonderful indoor companions, they also enjoy outdoor life on a farm or larger property where they can roam. Nala is sociable and loves meeting new people, while Thor takes a little time to warm up but quickly becomes the ultimate cuddle buddy. Both know basic commands and are good on a leash, though they can be distracted by intriguing smells during walks. It's important to note that these two must be adopted together and are best suited for homes without other dogs, as Nala can show aggression towards small dogs. They both have special needs: Thor has IBS and needs a specific diet, and both will require daily medications and reassurance during loud events like fireworks.
