About Wally

Wally is gentle to the core and exceptionally sweet. Since arriving at the rescue, he’s come a long way—from a shy, under-socialized pup who grew up with livestock guardians on a ranch, to a dog learning to trust people and enjoy their company. He still feels nervous when meeting strangers but is showing more confidence day by day. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and always has energy for playtime with his canine pals. Wally is potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and is full of affection for people he’s bonded with, offering hugs and kisses without reservation. Warm days find him cooling off in the pool. He does best in an easy-going, calm home where he can continue to blossom. Wally is about 1 year old and weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered, fully vetted, and has a mild congenital cranial deformity that doesn’t affect his health or quality of life. He gets along well with dogs and children. He’s available for adoption in New Jersey, the Northeast, or Texas. Click apply to start the adoption process.
