About Nigel READ BIO

Meet Nigel! This charming little guy is around 2 to 3 years old and weighs about 10ish lbs. He’s undeniably cute, but he is not suited for first-time dog owners or anyone seeking an instant bond. Nigel arrived from a hoarding situation and has more of a cat-like demeanor. He enjoys curling up next to you but tends to shy away when you try to pet him. Though he adores his dog friends and loves a good game of chase with a ball, he requires an owner who can provide patience as he adjusts. Nigel would thrive in a home without children, and having another small, confident, and playful dog would be ideal for him. A personal fenced-in yard is a must, as he has not yet been introduced to walking on a leash. He willingly goes into his crate for treats, showing readiness for training in a safe environment.
