Meet Matt! Matt is a sweet 10-year-old, 10-pound possible Chiweenie who believes there’s no such thing as too much snuggle time. This little guy may be a senior, but he has plenty of love to give and is happiest when he’s right beside his people. He thrives in a peaceful home with calmer dogs and would be great with kids over 10 who can be gentle and respectful with a senior pup. One of Matt’s favorite pastimes is curling up with his person; he loves to snuggle in bed and has an endearing habit of perching on your shoulder as you relax on the couch. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his crate alongside his foster mom, though he’d rather be cozied up in the big bed. Matt is still working on his housetraining, so his new family should be prepared to help him learn. In exchange, he offers boundless devotion and affection. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and weighs about 10 pounds. Currently, he’s undergoing heartworm treatment with support from his rescue until he tests negative.
