About Cooper

Cooper is a charming 3-year-old neutered male who will be ready for adoption at the end of October. As a herding dog mix, he weighs around 50 pounds and boasts a striking black coat that adds to his handsome appearance. During his time at the shelter, he captured my attention with his calm demeanor and eagerness to connect. Cooper enjoyed a little outdoor adventure where he took care of business and happily explored. His energy is impressive; he loves to give kisses and welcomes affection, often jumping onto laps for some extra pets. He's attentive and seems like he would be a breeze to train. Since he’s headed to a foster home with a cat, we'll have updates on how he interacts with them and kids in due course. Cooper definitely needs an active home where he can thrive. He gets along well with other dogs, making him a great companion for homes with furry friends. Cooper has tested heartworm negative, is microchipped, and has all his vaccinations up to date, including DA2PP, Bordetella, and rabies. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
