Introducing Yahtzee, a gentle spirit who is no game player. This lovely 9-10 year old, 9 lb, tri-colored Shih Tzu was found in the Palmdale Shelter, looking a bit worse for wear. He was supposed to go home with an adopter who never showed up, but thanks to rescue efforts, he’s now getting the care he deserves. Though one of his eyes is shrunken and possibly blind, it doesn’t hinder him; he navigates his surroundings just fine. After a thorough grooming, dental care, and recovery from a URI, Yahtzee is showing signs of becoming the vibrant companion he is meant to be. He’s remarkably calm and easygoing, perfect for warming your lap. While he interacts well with other dogs and enjoys his walks, his potty habits are still a work in progress. We haven’t heard him bark yet but know there’s a sunny personality waiting to shine through. Yahtzee is looking for a loving home filled with patience and attention.
