About Sadie

Sadie is a sweet, nearly 9-year-old labradoodle who needs a quiet home after being surrendered due to her owner's health issues. This medium-sized girl has spent her entire life in her previous home, and while she's adjusting to her new surroundings, she still shows signs of being a bit shy and cautious. Sadie tends to get jealous of other dogs, displaying more dominant behavior compared to her more timid brother, Tucker. She has Horners Syndrome, which is mostly cosmetic and does not significantly affect her health. With a history of being head shy, Sadie can initially be wary of hands near her face but opens up with gentle handling. Vet visits have confirmed that she's in good health, and she’s on a regimen for flea and heartworm prevention. While she can be fine with other dogs and children, a home where she can be an only dog is ideal for her. Sadie loves her walks and riding in the car, and she appears to be house trained and crate trained. A secure, fenced yard would be best for her; she thrives in a calm environment. Sadie will make a wonderful addition to a family that understands her needs. Click apply to start the adoption process.
