About Tucker
Tucker is an 8-year-old male Labradoodle who, along with his sister Sadie, came to us after their owner entered hospice care. They’ve spent nearly their entire lives in a loving home, so adapting to a new environment is a gradual process. Tucker shows a calm demeanor and is generally good with other dogs, although his sister can be a bit more dominant. They both prefer being the only dog in the household, as that reflects their past lifestyle. Tucker is a bit hesitant about touching near his head—he’s head shy, but he enjoys pets elsewhere. He has no significant health issues, only some benign cysts that come with age, which the vet noted as non-concerning. He is house trained and appears crate trained as well. A secure, fenced yard is ideal for him unless you plan to walk him regularly. At 50 pounds, Tucker is ready to transition into a quiet home where he can truly relax and enjoy his retirement years. He walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. This gentle soul deserves a family that understands his needs.
