Red came to the shelter after being dumped in a parking lot, and while he has some hair loss issues, the staff is helping him recover with regular baths. This laid-back guy is great on a leash and is fully housetrained. He enjoys affection but is equally content sitting beside you in peaceful companionship. Red tends to take life at a slower pace, but when he’s ready to move, he definitely keeps up! He has been introduced to other dogs and handles those interactions well. Currently, he kennels with another dog and participates in the shelter’s calming 'older' dog group, which focuses on enjoying each other’s presence rather than intense play. Red also has a unique hump on his back that he came into the shelter with. Despite it, he gets around just fine and loves his walks and outdoor time.
