Chong is an older, sweet-tempered gentleman with a loyal spirit. He came to the shelter bonded to his son, Cheech, after having spent time together out on the streets. Chong arrived a bit roughed up—he was thin, sported a healing wound from a recent skunk encounter, and had a swollen face from the spray. Given a little care, he’s mended well and now enjoys quiet yard time, keeping an eye on Cheech’s antics and sharing gentle moments together. Chong is mellow, affectionate, and hoping for a peaceful home where he and his son can stay together. He gets along well with other dogs, making him an easy fit for dog-friendly households.
