She’s a mix of Shar-Pei and Yellow Labrador Retriever, and at just over a year and a half old, she’s already proven herself both loyal and deeply affectionate. Kolbi sticks close to the people she trusts, loves to snuggle up, and doesn’t need much more than a toy and a quiet evening to be happy. Children bring out her best, and she’ll gladly follow the lead of a gentle child or patient adult. Food and treats get her attention, so training goes quickly—she’s eager to please and generally obedient. Kolbi does best in a calm home where routines make her feel secure. She can be nervous around men at first, but steady, predictable interactions go a long way. She isn’t comfortable with other female dogs or with poultry like chickens or ducks. If you have another dog, a slow introduction with a mellow male might work, but being an only dog would suit her just fine.
