About QBert
Introducing QBert! Meet this 12-week-old Basset Hound mix who’s bursting with playful energy and looking for a forever home! These floppy-eared sweethearts, currently in our Fresh Start Prison Program, need to be transported back to the shelter for meet-and-greets. When QBert isn’t zooming around with his pals, he loves nothing more than to cuddle up on your lap, showering you with affection. His soulful eyes make it hard to resist falling in love. Born on July 3, 2026, he currently weighs around 15 lbs, but his eventual size is a mystery since we don't know his parents. QBert is expected to get along well with kids and, given a slow introduction, could likely adapt to living with cats. He would also enjoy the company of doggy playmates. Keep in mind, adopting him means welcoming a little chaos into your life. He's notorious for stealing shoelaces and may try to nibble on anything left within reach. Patience will be key for potty training and a good supply of paper towels will come in handy. If you’re ready for the hard work and the rewards that come with it—like sweet tail wags and dramatic Basset sighs—QBert is ready to steal your heart. To adopt, you must live within an hour of the shelter, as you'll be doing a 'foster to adopt' arrangement until he's spayed or neutered. Make his next chapter the best one yet.
