Living in Ashville, OH, she is looking for a forever family that will help her gain confidence and learn to trust again.

About Betsy

Meet Betsy, a sweet soul who came to the rescue with eight other dogs from a dire situation. She’s currently enrolled in the DASH Prison Program, where she's learning to socialize with both dogs and humans. Betsy has a soft spot for her canine companions, but she's still adjusting to people, especially in larger groups, often barking to express her discomfort. Betsy is sensitive to loud noises and surprises but is making great strides with her handler's guidance. She's been learning basic commands, crate training, and is housebroken in her current setting. Although she was around cats in her previous foster home and seemed indifferent to them, she hasn't had experience with children. Small kids might overwhelm her due to her shy nature, but she could thrive with older, respectful children. Betsy's journey has been tough, but with the right family, she'll blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Ready to give Betsy the forever home she deserves? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
