About Penny
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Penny is a 1-year-old, 48-pound mixed breed with a beautiful blend of Basset Hound, Black Labrador, and possibly some Dachshund. Whatever her lineage, Penny is a lovely and wonderful companion! She has a friendly, easygoing nature, making her not just pretty but also a truly good dog. Penny thrives in an active home where she can engage in play with other dogs or a family that loves activity. She is playful and social, enjoying time spent romping, and she gets along well with children and other pups. After a lively play session, you’ll find Penny curled up beside her people, ready for a cozy snuggle. She’s a great companion in and out of the home, riding quietly in the car and loving her daily walks. Penny is house trained as long as she’s let out regularly, and she’s fully vetted and microchipped. To keep this energetic girl safe, she’ll need a secure 6’ fence or a dedicated family to take her on leash walks, as she can easily clear a 4’ fence. Penny’s current family adores her, but their busy schedules and four children mean Penny isn’t getting the time and attention she deserves. She would flourish in a home where play, companionship, and affection are part of the daily routine. While she is currently in Lithopolis, OH, transport can be arranged so she can find the perfect home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
