Umah is a charming, gentle soul who is beginning to embrace all that life has to offer. Although she may be a little timid and take time to trust, once she does, you'll have a devoted little companion ready to cozy up on your lap. Patients and understanding are essential as she can feel overwhelmed in noisy environments and might instinctively seek a safe hiding spot. As Umah grows comfortable, her delightful personality shines! She's started playing with her doggie friends and happily shows off her playful side. Her love for the couch is clear; she prefers to be as close to you as possible. Treats are her motivation—she dances happily at mealtime and tucks herself in her kennel nicely at night. Potty trained and quiet, Umah enjoys cuddles over constant play. She's been with her daughter for several months and may need support transitioning to a new family. Umah generally does well with cats that respect her space, but she can be a bit shy around other dogs. Important to note is that she feels safest when being held chest-to-chest. Umah simply needs someone committed to her journey, willing to believe in her and take things at her own pace. In return, you'll witness her blossom into the confident dog she deserves to be.
