Hitchcock is a 3-year-old male mixed-breed dog, weighing about 7 lbs. He has a small build and is tricolor with a mix of brown, black, and white. Although he is not yet altered, he is up to date on vaccinations. This affectionate boy is looking for a loving home in Marietta, GA.

About Hitchcock

Meet Hitchcock! This sweet boy arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on September 8 alongside his best friend, Skully. Sadly, no one came to reclaim them, so these two boys are now hoping to find a loving forever home. Hitchcock is understandably scared and shy in the bustling shelter environment, but volunteers describe him as incredibly sweet. He loves to be held and knows how to sit when asked. Currently, he’s too nervous to walk on a leash, but with a calm, loving home, we're hopeful his confidence will blossom. Hitchcock needs someone willing to give him time, patience, and reassurance—and in return, he’ll give you his heart. At around 3 years old and weighing 7 lbs, Hitchcock is up to date on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. If you’re looking for a companion who needs a bit of nurturing, come meet Hitchcock in kennel 318; his ID # is 22384. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008. You can reach them at (770) 499-4136. Their shelter hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed Mondays and holidays. Let’s find Hitchcock the forever home he deserves!
