About Hyde
Hyde is about 6 years old and weighs around 15 lbs. He came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and has been enjoying the care of the wonderful volunteers. Now, he’s ready to find a loving family to share his affection with forever. Hyde has been introduced to other dogs at the shelter. While he didn’t immediately play with them, he displayed no aggression, so if you have a friendly dog, a meet-and-greet could be great. Cats are still a mystery to him and he hasn't interacted with kids yet, but a home without toddlers might be best since he’s a little timid. This lively boy has a sweet personality and loves to be close to people. Holding him is a bonus for him! Although he can be shy at first, he warms up quickly and shows his affectionate side. Hyde has a charming way of communicating, often howling adorably during photos. His energy is mild, rated around 3-5, which means he’s likely to enjoy some playful moments but also loves his quiet time. Currently, Hyde is enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program. He’s doing well with crate training but would prefer not to spend too much time in one. His potty habits are commendable, fitting into the shelter’s schedule. He loves to be held and craves companionship, but he’s okay as long as he gets plenty of love, attention, and training. Medically, he’s up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and neutered. He’s undergoing medicated baths to help his skin and fur, which can be easily continued at home. Hyde needs a family who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them. His adoption fee is waived, so don’t wait too long to meet him!
