About Ajax
Ajax is about 5 years old and weighs around 11 lbs. This gentle fellow came to Mostly Mutts looking for a loving home and has quickly become a favorite. He's been enjoying his time here, receiving lots of love from the volunteers. After some time in a temporary foster home, Ajax is eager to find his forever family. Ajax is friendly but a bit shy at first. He seems to get along with other dogs at the shelter, though he prefers to take his time in making new friends. While there’s no information about his interactions with cats, he hasn't met kids yet, so it's best to avoid toddlers that might accidentally bump into him. This little Velcro dog enjoys being close to his people, loves belly rubs, and is always ready for a cozy cuddle. Currently a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, Ajax knows the command 'come' and walks nicely on a leash. He has good crate manners and seems to be getting the hang of potty training, with just a few accidents noted. Ajax is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He has a mild luxating patella in his right hind leg and takes a daily over-the-counter Cosequin. Now, he’s on the lookout for a warm-hearted family to welcome him into their lives.
