Bella: A Love Story in Need of a New Chapter Bella has always had a purpose. As a companion, she was a little guardian, a diligent walking partner, and above all, a master at receiving affection. For years, she shared her days with a grandmother who instilled in her the true meaning of love. Bella thrived on companionship, cuddles, and the joy of following her person around the house. However, things changed when her beloved owner passed away. Now, Bella finds herself seeking a new companion to fill a role she thought was hers for life. Her requirements are simple: Bella desires someone to join her on walks, provide regular petting, and ideally, have a cozy patio for her to oversee important matters from. Bella is well-versed in her duties; she walks nicely on a leash, knows commands like "sit" and "come," and enjoys safe explorations in open spaces. Her energy is moderate, but what she truly craves is companionship. Having spent her life around people, Bella prefers a quieter environment. She wouldn’t thrive in a busy setting with lots of dogs or be happy being left alone for long stretches. She longs for a stable home filled with affection and a human to call her own, someone who will keep the tradition of cherishing her alive. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement.
