About Nelly
Nelly is a happy, playful girl with a soft spot for swimmingânothing makes her light up quite like water. She loves to explore, play with other dogs, and attack fallen coconuts with gusto. While she may start out shy around new people, Nelly quickly warms up and becomes loyal once she knows you. Her sweet, expressive eyes say more than words ever could. Nelly thrives in a home with lots of activity and ideally another friendly dog for company. A family that enjoys being outdoors, can give her regular swimming opportunities, and doesnât leave her alone for long periods will be a great fit. She isnât suited to a quiet home or one where sheâs expected to entertain herself all day. Sheâs good with children, dogs, and even cats, and sheâs house trained. If youâre looking for a loving, lively companion, Nelly is ready to join your adventures. Currently, Nelly is in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, and will be transported once adopted or placed with a foster. Hope 4 La Pawz, a U.S. nonprofit, manages all logistics and shares full behavioral and medical info in advance. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
