About Louie
Hi, I am Louie! Louie is a five-month-old Labrador Retriever/Rat Terrier mix with a playful streak and plenty of curiosity. He never lived on the streetsāhe was clean and healthy when he first arrived at his rescuer's home at about eight weeks old. Louie thrives on long walks, chewing toys or sticks, and napping in the shade. Heās already growing into a medium-sized dog and has shown a knack for getting along well with other dogs. Louie hasn't met a cat yet, so his reaction to them is still unknown. His perfect home has a yard to run in and people with the time and energy to keep him active and engaged. Louie wouldnāt do well left alone for long stretches or in a home without interaction. He is house trained, neutered, vaccinated, loving, and ready to bond with a family whoāll include him in their day-to-day life. He is currently fostered in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported to the Pacific Northwest once adopted or placed in foster care. Logistics and health details are organized through Hope 4 La Pawz, a U.S. nonprofit. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
