About Nugget
Nugget is a sharp, self-assured dog who craves activity. Off-leash, she fits right in with other dogs and plays with real focus and energy. On-leash, she's still working through some reactivity, but her progress shows—she knows a range of commands, waits for her cue at mealtimes, and has reliable manners. Her favorite activities include running, sniffing out snacks, and gnawing on whatever toy or stick she can find. Nugget actually enjoys car trips, especially to the beach, where she bursts into sprints across the sand and splashes straight into the water. She lives well with cats, enjoys being shown affection, but isn't one to curl up for hours. Nugget would fit best in an active, balanced home that can match her drive and patience as she continues to refine her leash skills. This dog is currently living in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but transport is handled for adopters or fosters in the U.S. Hope 4 La Pawz, the nonprofit, takes care of all logistics and shares full medical and behavioral records up front.
