About Kelvin
Meet Kelvin! This sweet and easygoing Chihuahua mix, often called Kelvie or Cowboy Kelvin, is around 8 years old and weighs about 13 lbs. With his handsome tan coat and frosted face, this charming senior is ready to find a forever home to enjoy life's simple pleasures by your side. Although his cowboy days may be behind him, Kelvin still has plenty of love, personality, and adventure to share. His back legs give him an endearing swagger, but X-rays confirm his bones and joints are in great shape. He's more than capable of going for leash walks, playtime, and spending time with his favorite people. Kelvin is crate-trained, house-trained, and a dream in the car—he loves riding shotgun for errands, road trips, or weekend adventures. At home, he's equally content watching the world from the window, chewing a favorite bone, or curling up on the couch while you work or relax. His friendly nature makes him an easy companion who enjoys meeting new people. He gets along well with other dogs but prefers not to share his favorite toys or bones. Having recently completed heartworm treatment, Kelvin is now heartworm free and feeling better than ever after a dental cleaning that gave him a healthier smile. More than anything, Kelvin seeks companionship and wants to be wherever you are—whether running errands, taking leisurely walks, or cuddling in the evening. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate best friend with a heart of gold, Kelvin is eager to fill that role in your life.
