Meet Stuart! Stuart is a 7-year-old, 102-pound Bernedoodle, a delightful blend of Bernese Mountain Dog and Standard Poodle. He was surrendered when his previous owner moved to a condo and could no longer provide the space and care he needs. Now, Stuart is on the lookout for a family that will cherish him forever. This affectionate boy loves attention and enjoys meeting new people. He also has a playful side, loving toys, fetching, and going for car rides. As a loyal companion, he will let you know when something unusual is occurring. It's worth noting that he’s slightly overweight, so a healthy diet and regular exercise are essential. Stuart pulls on the leash, so a securely fenced yard is a must—no tethers or invisible fences for this big guy! While he has never lived with another dog, he socializes well with them. He isn’t fond of cats, so a feline-free home is necessary. Stuart has interacted positively with children and would thrive best in a household with older, dog-savvy kids who can handle his size. He's house-trained and displays excellent manners indoors. Stuart does not need to be crated and can be trusted when left alone. His coat will need regular brushing and professional grooming to keep it in top shape. Stuart has a lipoma beneath his chest, which is a benign lump common in older dogs. This does not interfere with his great health or energetic nature. He's seeking a vibrant family that can match his enthusiasm. Stuart is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies. He’s also been dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), and is on heartworm and flea prevention.
