About Noodles Nancy
Meet Noodles Nancy, a husky and German shepherd mix with the soul of an introvert. She spent her early days surviving on the streets of Detroit and arrived at rescue scared and deeply unsure of the world—and especially humans. It’s taken a lot of patience, but she’s learned how to be a dog and is ready for a home that values calm over chaos. Noodles Nancy is about six years old and, for the record, weighs less than a baby rhino (but you’ll just have to trust her on that one). She’s housebroken and prefers quiet relaxation to romping through the yard. Noodles Nancy will let you know when she needs to go outside, but for the most part, the great outdoors isn’t her playground. She’s happiest tucked between her favorite people, soaking up slow affection like a pro. She tends to be shy, especially at first, and really needs her space. She rarely barks and only wants to be the only pet in the home—other dogs and cats are not for her. Small children stress her out, so an adult home or one with older children is perfect. She’s survived heartworm and is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations, with a sponsored adoption fee. A quiet home with a fenced yard and people who appreciate life at a slower pace will suit her best. If you’re the type who doesn’t have a lot of company over and wants a true companion, Noodles Nancy is ready to be your loyal shadow. Let her have her Noodle sandwiches—her favorite, where she gets hugs from both sides—and she’ll be yours forever. Fun fact: Noodles Nancy was born under the sign of Cancer, which makes her a natural homebody and deeply loyal to her family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
