About Noodles Nancy
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Noodles, also known as Nancy! This lovely girl was once a stray in Detroit and has traveled quite a distance, both physically and emotionally, since then. When she first arrived at the rescue, she was shy, shut down, and unfamiliar with the comforts of a loving home. Through gentle encouragement and plenty of patience, Noodles has blossomed and now eagerly awaits her forever people. Though her exact age remains a mystery, she’s thought to be around 6 years old (and fun fact: as a Cancer, she is extra loyal and loving!). Her weight is best described as just right—definitely less than a baby rhino, as she’d say! Noodles is still cautious at times, preferring to build trust at her own pace, but once you’re her person, you’ll discover a bond like no other. Loyal and devoted, she will always be by your side. Noodles is housebroken and enjoys making herself at home wherever she feels cozy—whether on the bed, floor, or snuggled up in her own spot. She loves having her people close and delights in getting affection, especially her signature "Noodle sandwich" hugs! She’s a quiet companion, with just enough voice to communicate her needs, but otherwise enjoys calm and tranquility. She’s not interested in lots of outdoor time or long walks, preferring instead a quiet life with a fenced yard, comfortable indoor spaces, and minimal excitement. Noodles thrives in a peaceful, introverted environment, making her the perfect choice for adults or households without children and with no other pets. She isn’t aggressive with other dogs, just truly prefers solitude and one-on-one attention. Now a heartworm survivor and fully recovered, she’s looking forward to a relaxing retirement with people who appreciate the comforts of home. Dewormed, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on heartworm and flea prevention, she’s ready for her next adventure with you. If you’re seeking a faithful, low-key companion, Noodles could be the dog you’ve been waiting for. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
