Jacob
AvailableJacob is a young male German Shepherd Dog, not yet a year old, located in Bradenton, FL. He is large in size and has received basic training, knowing commands like 'sit.'
About Jacob
Jacob is a bright and eager young dog who thrives on food and toy motivation. He’s already learned “sit” and is working on mastering “stay” and “down.” Jacob walks fairly well on a leash for his size and tolerates handling well. Though he can become jumpy and mouthy when excited, continued training and structure will help him channel that energy positively. His previous food resource guarding means he’d do best in an experienced home familiar with teaching boundaries around food. Jacob loves to play with other dogs and interacts well with both males and females. However, he's a vigorous player, so smaller companions might find him overwhelming. He takes corrections well and may just need a few reminders as he continues his training. Jacob is searching for a committed home that can help him grow into his best self! ❤️
