Having faced challenges, he’s resilient and still has a heart full of affection for people. His past includes surviving Hurricane Helene and spending time with a family, but he found himself back in rescue due to unforeseen allergies in his owner. This handsome boy has a charming personality, knowing commands like sit, stay, and place, along with being crate, potty, and leash trained. Arthur loves to showcase his playful side with fetch, and he also enjoys quiet moments as your snuggle buddy. While he can occasionally be nervous, he’s made great strides with positive reinforcement training and structure. He can be a bit fear-reactive around some dogs, but he has done well cohabitating and playing with other dogs once properly introduced. Arthur ideally needs a home where he can shine—preferably with older kids or adults, as he often forgets his size. He cannot live with cats and would do best as the only dog or with a medium or large canine companion. He has some dietary restrictions, as he's allergic to chicken but thrives on a diet of turkey, beef, fish, and fruits.
