About Dumpling
Meet Dumpling, an affectionate 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing around 50 lbs. Rescued from a situation in Louisiana, she immediately won hearts with her wagging tail and friendly demeanor. Dumpling is playful and sociable, getting along well with both larger and smaller dogs. She has a gentle yet spirited nature, enjoying fun play sessions while also respecting a friend's cues to take a break. In her foster home, Dumpling is already house trained and shows great leash manners. She has learned how to sit and is improving her other manners—like keeping her paws off the counters. Although she can be a bit cautious at first, she quickly warms up to new experiences, especially with some patience and tasty treats. Dumpling’s energy includes a high prey drive, so she’d thrive best in a home without cats. Outside, she can get excited when she spots other dogs or people, so her new family should be ready to guide her in staying calm during walks.
