About Starburst
Meet Starburst. This 4-year-old, 30.2-pound beagle girl is ready to discover just how wonderful life can be when you're loved and cared for. Starburst came to us as a breeder release alongside her friend Skittles. Both spent their lives in outdoor kennels, knowing little of the warmth and love that most dogs experience. Now, Starburst is getting her first chance to learn what life can be outside a kennel. With her past, it's likely she would be a good friend to a resident cat, as her prey drive has been minimal. Despite her challenging past, Starburst is affectionate and eager for companionship. She'll need some time to adjust to the many new experiences that come with being part of a family. However, her love for human attention fills us with hope that she will thrive. Starburst and Skittles share an important bond. While we’d love to see them adopted together, we also welcome those who can offer a loving home to either beagle. Understanding their background is crucial. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are key to helping Starburst adjust to this new life. She deserves to know warmth, comfort, and kindness as she embarks on this new chapter. Starburst has much love to give and is ready to find a family who will cherish her. We are still learning about Starburst, so stay tuned for updates on her personality.
