About Honey Bee
Honey Bee is a charming 5-year-old beagle who is all set to leave her stray days behind. Discovered by a Good Samaritan, she found her way into a loving foster home in St. Louis. Weighing just 22 pounds, this petite beagle has a lot of life and love to share. Despite her tough past, Honey Bee is on the mend. She came to us covered in fleas but has since received the necessary treatment, including a month of NexGard Plus, and her heartworm test came back negative. Honey Bee will be spayed and vaccinated on September 2, and before her journey to the Pacific Northwest, she will also be microchipped and undergo a fecal test, ensuring she’s ready for her new adventure. While we don’t have details about her history or how she might adjust to all that home life entails, we've seen her interact positively with dogs of her size. She recently accompanied another beagle to the vet and they got along wonderfully. We still need to learn how she feels about cats or kids, so those introductions should be made gradually. Honey Bee deserves a safe, loving home where she can decompress and feel secure. This sweet girl is ready for her next chapter. Could you be her forever family? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
