Daisy weighs 22 lbs, making her a small but mighty friend who loves to cuddle and be close to her human.

Meet Daisy, an adorable 6-year-old Chihuahua/Beagle mix weighing in at 22 lbs. This big-boned beauty is known for her gentle spirit, but she also has a bit of a health twist; Daisy has hypothyroidism and is on lifelong medication. Don’t let that deter you; she’s already on the path to a healthier life with some daily walks and a bit of a diet change. Daisy came to us from a shelter in California after being pregnant and delivering two pups. Having completed her motherly duties, she’s now ready for a cozy life full of cuddles and affection. While she enjoys a good stroll and is getting the hang of using the doggie door, this sweet girl prefers lounging and snacking over anything too vigorous. Daisy has a knack for picking a favorite human and sticking with them, but she’s adaptable enough to give affection to others if her chosen companion isn't around. She’s extremely sweet and does well with older kids, though younger ones might be too much for her. Fine with cats and other dogs, Daisy really just asks for love, a comfy napping spot, and her daily medications. In return, she offers unwavering companionship.
