About Azalea Arriving D
Meet Azalea! This sweet and goofy girl is looking for a patient and understanding forever home. Coming from a hoarding situation, she's still learning to feel safe and confident. While Azalea may initially be nervous around new people, she warms up quickly with a little time and space. Respecting her boundaries is key, as she prefers to move at her own pace. Azalea thrives with canine companions; she must have another playful, confident dog in her new home. The presence of another dog gives her the security she craves, and she has gotten along wonderfully with every dog she meets. Although Azalea enjoys lounging and is low-energy, she's also playful and motivated by treats. She's aware of some basic commands and is making solid progress on leash walking, crate training, and potty habits, although she still has the occasional accident. When it's dinner time, her adorable little howls are hard to resist! Affection is a work in progress for her. Azalea is learning to enjoy head scratches and when she's happy, you'll see the cutest little booty wiggle as she approaches. She likes to snuggle next to her foster family during cozy evenings, especially while watching The Amazing Race. An adult-only home is preferred for Azalea; she hasn't met cats or kids yet, so patience is crucial as she continues to blossom. This girl has come a long way, and she needs someone who can give her the time she deserves. Azalea arrives in Minnesota on September 12, 2026. Be ready for her!
