About Gracie Arriving D
Gracie Arriving D came into rescue in Texas with her puppies, and now that her mothering duties are finished, it's time for her to discover what it means to be spoiled and loved. As a sweet, shy, low-energy girl, Gracie is still blossoming, needing a patient family who can give her the time and space to feel safe and build her confidence. She may be easygoing, but she is looking for a nurturing environment where she can slowly come out of her shell. Gracie gets along well with other dogs, even the lively ones, though she doesn't play just yet. We believe as she grows more confident, she may come to enjoy some playful moments. She doesn’t necessarily need another dog in her home, but a calm canine companion could help ease her transition. While there’s no known history with cats, Gracie does well around older children who respect her need for a gentle introduction. Crate training is going well, and she’s getting accustomed to leash walking, showing her bravery in learning new experiences. As Gracie settles in, she’s likely to show off her hidden playful and affectionate side. Right now, she needs a quiet, understanding home where she can learn and grow at her own pace. Gracie deserves to experience the love and joy of being someone's cherished pet. She will arrive in Minnesota on 09/12/2026 and needs to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN, between 8:30 and 11:30 AM. Please plan accordingly, as pickups outside this time cannot be accommodated. Gracie is available through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt Program. Learn more about how to make her part of your family!
