About Rosie Arriving D

Meet Rosie, a delightful six-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix bursting with personality. Though not a puppy anymore, she still has a playful spirit and enjoys her moments of zest, including spontaneous zoomies to brighten up the day. Most of the time, you can find her lounging in a sunny spot, snuggling with her favorite humans, or curled up on a cozy lap. Rosie gets along well with cats and is friendly with other dogs, though she may be a bit shy at first. Once she feels at ease, she revels in playful games of chase. Children are just fine in her book too! A little vocal when things catch her attention—like visitors or squirrels—Rosie would thrive best in a home without shared walls. She is crate trained, though she might express her feelings with a brief protest. Rosie still needs some work on her potty and leash skills, so she’s looking for a patient adopter to help her grow. In return, she promises unwavering affection and companionship. With a love for sunbathing and comfort, Rosie dreams of a cozy home where she's treated like royalty. If you have a warm lap and a sunny window, Rosie could be just the match you've been waiting for. As part of Ruff Start Rescue, Rosie will arrive in Minnesota on September 12, 2026, and must be picked up from Princeton between 8:30 and 11:30 AM. She will need additional vet care once she’s here, and fosters will be responsible for transport to appointments. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
