Meet Sunny! This charming 9-pound male Chihuahua is nearly 2 years old and is ready for a loving home. Sunny came into rescue when his previous owner, overwhelmed with too many pets, could no longer care for him. After getting all the necessary vet care, he’s now a healthy little companion looking for affection. Sunny thrives on attention, toys, and, most importantly, cuddles! He's a natural snuggler who will quickly find a spot in your lap. He loves to fetch and often fetches his toys just to pile them up on the sofa. True to his breed, Sunny acts as a reliable watch dog, barking to alert you when something's amiss. He plays well with other small dogs, and while he loves the company of his furry friends, he would also adapt well as an only pet, provided he's not left alone too often. Sunny is about to embark on his new journey, but he would need a home with a fenced yard. His ideal adopter would have previous experience with Chihuahuas. Although he is house trained, he sometimes marks where other male dogs have been. Fully vetted and neutered, Sunny is also microchipped and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $300.
