About Jack
Mr. Jack has been in foster care for a while, eagerly awaiting his forever family. This handsome 25-pound, fluffy 7-year-old Pomsky truly deserves a secure and loving home for his golden years. Could you be the one for him? Jack’s ideal situation is as the only pet in a quiet home with no children. He has thrived in foster care, demonstrating his intelligence and trainability through consistent routines. While he has successfully lived with other pets, it's best to discuss specifics if you’re serious about adopting. He has a natural instinct to herd and alert, which means he barks when he feels someone needs to know what's happening—this doesn’t suit apartment living. Daily walks of about 15-20 minutes are essential to keep him satisfied and active. A walk calms him down, and he warms up to people gradually. Jack isn’t the type to roam outside alone due to his curiosity and herding drive, so a fenced area or kennel can work for outdoor time, but leash walks are still a must. He has a sensitive stomach and will need to stay on a specialized diet and probiotics throughout his life. Jack is a delightful companion who loves belly rubs and interactive toys. He follows you around the house and enjoys human company. He’s up to date on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. After an approved application and home visit, you could welcome this charming dog into your life. If you think you have what it takes to be Jack’s forever home, reach out to discuss the next steps!
