About Huey
Your new best friend is just one click away. Huey is a handsome, energetic, and playful young black and white Pekingese boy who weighs 12 lbs. Born on October 16, 2024, under the sign of Libra—did you know Libras are known for their charm and social nature? He arrived at the rescue with his brother Dewey due to a minor health detail but has since thrived in his foster environment. Huey may be a bit shy at first, but once comfortable, he becomes a loving lap companion who adores cuddles and attention. His expressive eyes and soft coat make him a favorite among his caregivers. Huey enjoys playing and interacting with other friendly dogs and would thrive in a home with another pupster for company. A fenced yard is a must so he can safely enjoy outdoor fun, and he’s not suited for homes with children. Huey follows a specially prepared raw diet, including top-quality proteins and supplements, which his new family must continue for his best health. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm/flea prevention, and is making progress with house training. He does exceptionally well during grooming and loves routine. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, Huey can’t wait to meet you! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
