Hugo is a young male Shar-Pei mix, medium-sized with a beautiful golden coat. He is altered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house trained, though he has a tendency to escape if given the chance. Hugo weighs around 90 lbs and is currently in White Cloud, MI. With his sweet personality and charming disposition, he is ready to find a forever home.

About Hugo

Hugo is a cherished boy who takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. Once he feels secure, he reveals his loving nature. However, he has a tendency to bolt, which poses a risk to his safety. A physically fenced yard is a must for him. In his previous adoption, he escaped and was missing for two weeks before being caught and returned to the shelter. It's heartbreaking that Hugo, at just one year old, has spent most of his life in a shelter instead of a loving home. He deserves a safe and nurturing environment where he can thrive. Help us give Hugo the new beginning he needs!
