About Penny

Meet Penny! Penny is a happy, energetic little girl ready to leave her rough start behind and find a loving family. Abandoned with her siblings on a dirt road, her past is uncertain, but she’s a shining star now at about 7 months old. When she arrived, she was quite small, but she’s steadily gaining weight and currently weighs around 22 pounds. We expect her to reach about 30-35 pounds, though her final size may vary due to her mixed breed. Full of energy, Penny loves to run, play, and have fun. She adores toys, treats, and is good with children. Smart and eager to learn, she quickly grasps new commands but is still working on not jumping with excitement around people. With some guidance, she’ll easily nail that. Penny does have a strong prey drive and tends to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. She’s made great strides with house training and continues to grow into the fabulous young dog she is meant to be. If you’re looking for an active, playful companion to keep you entertained, Penny is ready to meet you!
