About Charlie Sweet
Charlie is a small terrier mix with a gentle spirit and a resilience that’s easy to admire. At only two years old, he’s already been through more hardship than most dogs ever see. When found, Charlie had spent months with heavy mats hiding his petite frame—removal took hours, but underneath was a grateful little guy desperate for attention. His fur will soon be soft and healthy again with regular care. Despite the tough start, Charlie just wants to be close. He’s affectionate, quiet, and instantly trusting with the people he meets. Charlie gets along well with both dogs and cats, and he’s happiest when he’s snuggled in someone’s arms or by their side. The vet found him in good health apart from a minor eye infection that’s being treated, and now Charlie’s only missing a safe place and a kind person to help him put the past behind him. Charlie’s ready to be someone's companion—whether as a foster or as the center of a forever home. Let him feel what real care is like. Your kindness could mean the world to him.
