Salem is a male baby dog, likely to grow into a large size. He has medium-length black fur, is not yet house trained, but is spayed and vaccinated. Located in Woolwich, ME, he is currently 15 lbs and is eager to find his forever home with a family that can accommodate his training needs.

About Salem

Meet Salem! He’s part of the adorable Sabrina litter that came into rescue because of an β€œoops” litter. His mom is a Doodle mix, and his dad is a German Shepherd, so he’s likely to be a larger pup once he’s fully grown. Right now, he weighs about 15 lbs at 8 weeks old. Salem and his siblings are sweet, playful, and gentle, making them perfect family dogs. As young puppies, they need families that can work with their small puppy bladders and provide crate, leash, potty, and command training. If you're considering adopting Salem, ensure you have the right home and schedule for a growing pup. Currently in AL, he will be heading to Maine in mid-September and is eager to meet his forever family! If you're interested in adopting Salem or want to get pre-approved, please fill out an application on our website. This approval lasts a year and allows you to skip the waiting period for any pup you like! You'll also be put on our email list for each transport and can attend meet and greet events.
