About Oakley
Oakley is the kind of pup whose eyes say it all—curious, uncertain, and full of hope. He came in from a hoarding situation with his siblings and most of his short life has been spent outdoors, so the comforts of a real home are new territory for him. At about four months old, Oakley is still cautious, but there's a gentle warmth to him. When he decides you're trustworthy, you’ll see how affectionate and loving he can be. He’s believed to be an Anatolian Shepherd mix, so expect him to grow into a large dog. Oakley will need a family who’s home much of the time and ready for the routine of puppy basics: potty training, crate work, leash skills, and learning commands. He deserves a patient adopter who will help him feel safe and let him enjoy being a puppy. Oakley is in Alabama for now but will be making his way to Maine in mid-May. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
