About Annie Aka Mummie Ween
Annie, affectionately called Mummy Ween, came into rescue absolutely pregnant and handled motherhood with graceāevery pup she raised has thrived and found a home. In her foster setting, sheās the kind of easy-going dog that almost flies under the radar, but donāt mistake quiet for unremarkable. Annie has even taken on the role of mentor and nursemaid for struggling pups, cleaning and socializing them with the patience only an old soul has. She mixes well with other dogs, enjoys snuggles and play, and brightens up in the company of another friendly canine. Annie is respectful of senior dogs but would truly thrive living with at least one playful companionāhaving a dog buddy boosts her confidence and happiness. Chiweenies like Annie can be vocal when new dogs come around, and she may sometimes try to claim the best seat in the house, but sheās quick to settle in once the rules are clear. She gravitate toward her people, especially on the couch, and while she can be leery of men and might play keep-away if she thinks youāll scoop her up, she is surprisingly cuddly once she decides youāre in her circle. Annie adores kids, especially older onesāthe tiniest could unintentionally overwhelm her small frame (sheās under 10 lbs), but with school-age kids, sheās a dream. She needs a secure yard or committed leash work, as nervous energy could make her a flight risk off leash. She isnāt destructive, isnāt a chewer, and loves an active lifestyle with plenty of play and soft landings at the end of the day. To know Annie is to love her; her Chiweenie spark and generous snuggles are unforgettable. Sheās ready for someone who cherishes her blend of spirit and sweetness. Ready to meet your new best friend?
