Annie- or Mummy Ween as she is so lovingly called in her foster home. Came into rescue incredibly pregnant and raised a handful of wonderful babies who’ve gone to their own homes. Her foster mom has a few more challenging foster pups in her care so Annie hasn’t gotten a lot of post time- simply because she’s just so easy to live with posting her goes to the wayside. She has had a bit of interest but hasn’t quite found the right match among them but that’s ok! Annie has even helped raise a tinnnny puppy who was barely hanging on when her foster mom picked her up. She cleaned her and stimulated her and socialized her and certainly aided in her recovery. - she’s wonderful with other dogs. Likes to play and snuggle! She is respectful of older dogs but we’d like her to have at least one playful other dog in her new home to- really helps her confidence and is so good for her to play. If she sees a strange dog outside she is absolutely going to do the Chiweenie alert barking- as they do. She may on occasion try to be the boss of the couch 🙄. We simply tell her no and set her down. but a few minutes into snuggle time she is always sharing a pillow with her favorite human next to another dog. She loves to be with her people- she can be Leary of men at first. She is also a little nervous if she thinks someone is going to scoop her up she runs and hides and plays a strong game of keep away. But if you’re sitting on a couch she jumps right up for a snuggle and you can pick her up from there without issue. She does love kids! Because she is so small (under 10 lbs) for her own safety we would say slightly older ones- probably no toddlers who could accidentally squish her. One of her favorite humans is a 7 year old little boy 🥰 Her foster home has a fenced yard so she hasn’t had much leash time and that will need continued work. She has a little nervous streak that could absolutely make her a flight risk if ever off leash- her home absolutely needs to be committed to leash training and walking her or have a fenced yard. She is small but energetic! This girl loves to have an active family to keep up with and then snuggles hard at the end of a playful day 💜 She is not a chewer or destructive in any way. She loves toys a nice yard to run in and cozy couches and other dogs to play with and occupy her days. Annie is an absolute love bug. We could talk about her all day. She’s got Chiweenie spice (of course!) But also the BEST snuggles you could ever wish for. If you are a Chiweenie lover with the most incredible home to offer - this might be your girl.
