About Teddy
Meet Teddy! This 3-year-old Rat Terrier and Miniature Poodle mix has a big heart and an even bigger personality. Weighing in at 14 pounds, Teddy came to Prairie Paws Rescue after his family could no longer care for him. He was loved and grew up with three children, so he’s well-acquainted with family life. Teddy is settling into his foster home and getting used to new surroundings. He’s social and enjoys the company of both dogs and cats of similar size. One of his favorite activities is going for walks, and he’s great on a leash — perfect for someone who loves to be outdoors. Before finding his forever home, Teddy will have all his veterinary needs taken care of, including his neuter. He hasn’t been neutered yet, which has led to some marking behavior, but we expect this to improve after the procedure along with consistent training. With his sweet and engaging nature, Teddy is looking for a fresh start and a loving family. He will need regular grooming to keep his curly coat in shape. Could he be the companion you’ve been searching for? Teddy is ready to start his incredible journey with you! The adoption fee is $215 plus tax with an approved application. Prairie Paws Rescue is dedicated to finding the best home for each pet, so they do not operate on a first-come basis. Click apply to start the adoption process.
