About Socks
Meet Socks, a ridiculously lovable and super-fast cuddle-loving athlete seeking his forever home! Socks is a Whippet/Pit mix, bringing together the speed of a racehorse and the affectionate charm of a Velcro dog. Once those legs get moving, keeping up with him will be a challenge! While he enjoys running and playing, Socks cherishes time spent right next to his person. He’s affectionate and cuddly, happiest when involved in your daily activities. Patiently waiting for his human to return home, he greets them with excitement and ready for snuggles. Socks knows commands like sit, lay down, jump, and roll over. He’s housebroken and adores chew bones. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, and we believe he’d do wonderfully with respectful children as well. Socks joined us after his previous family faced challenges providing the attention and care he deserves. Now, he’s on the hunt for someone who can give him the companionship he craves. He’ll make a fantastic buddy, capable of running and playing but also curling up next to you for a cuddle. One thing to note: Socks is not a fan of storms, so he may need medication during bad weather to help keep him calm. If you’re looking for a dog who can run, learn, and snuggle, Socks could be the perfect match for you! Fast feet, a big heart, and an expert cuddler—this boy is 100% ready to find his person.
