About George
George is an approximately 2-year-old Pit mix with a heartwarming story. Rescued from a busy highway, he faced unimaginable hardships, including surviving alone for nearly a year after being dumped. Despite his past traumas, including an accident that resulted in a broken paw, he hasnβt lost his trust in people. Those who found him recognized his sweet, gentle nature almost immediately. George loves companionship. Heβs happiest when he follows his people around the house, happily settling nearby when they sit. He adores belly rubs and will wiggle his whole body in delight! His toy collection is a sight to see; he gently brings them to the couch one by one. He's a natural when it comes to catching tennis balls, too. Friendly and well-mannered, George knows how to sit, sleeps peacefully in his crate, and would be an excellent companion for road trips. After years of merely surviving, George is eager to thrive in a loving home. He deserves a cozy bed, a collection of toys, and a family to cherish him. George's time to bask in love and comfort has finally arrived. β€οΈ Requirements include a Martingale collar.
