Her current family describes her as incredibly sweet and loyal, with plenty of energy when it's time to play but the ability to settle when the fun is over. And for just five months old, this girl has already learned a LOT! June is... - Crate trained and sleeps through the night - About 95% potty trained- will bark or ring a bell when she needs to go outside - Dog friendly and regularly attends doggy daycare - Has done well with cats, although her current senior kitty roommate would very much prefer a dog-free retirement - Has lived with a 10-year-old child and is reported to do well with children. * Would do best with older, school age kids who can keep up with her energy. - Has completed seven 1-hour sessions with a trainer- responded well to training Of course, June is still a heeler puppy, so her education isn't finished! She needs continued work on leash manners and recall, and right now she thinks passing cars deserve a good chase. She's an intelligent youngster who has already shown that she responds well to training, so she needs a family excited to continue working with her and give that busy cattle-dog brain something productive to do. June also loves being with her people. Her family has noticed some separation anxiety, although it has already improved.
