Rescued just hours before euthanasia, this handsome 2-year-old Husky and Heeler mix is ready for the forever home he has been patiently waiting for. Neutered, fully vetted, and having completed heartworm treatment, Stallone is a healthy and active dog with a sharp mind. He thrives on building deep bonds with those he trusts. Moving into foster care, he needed time to adjust, especially with resource guarding and protectiveness issues, but with patience and guidance, he has transformed beautifully. Now, Stallone loves long walks, brushing sessions, and, of course, belly rubs. Once he trusts you, this affectionate boy is loyal and happiest when close to his people. He has successfully met new friends through thoughtful introductions and continues to show how much he has grown. Stallone is looking for an experienced adopter who understands the importance of routine and leadership. He'll do best in a quieter home without young children where he can continue to flourish.
