About Dipper
Meet Dipper, a one-year-old Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix weighing 45 pounds. Dipper is a charming, slightly clumsy fellow who’s still discovering that the world can be a safe and welcoming place. He shows a bit of submissiveness and tends to feel uncertain in new situations, yet beneath that uncertainty lies a genuine desire to trust and bond with his humans. When he's feeling anxious, Dipper has the most adorable little belly crawl as he moves closer to you. He’s new to leash walking but is eager to learn, especially when he has the support of his people. A bit of encouragement makes a huge difference for him. Once comfortable, Dipper becomes a snuggle machine. He may need someone patient who understands the importance of taking things at his pace, but witnessing his confidence grow will be incredibly fulfilling. This sweetheart may not be the most confident pup yet, but with kindness and a devoted companion, Dipper is sure to blossom into a beloved friend. Dipper is available for adoption through the Yakima Humane Society. If you're interested, please reach out to their adoption team!
